Loss
These are some mood boards and style frames from an NFTS workshop exploring themes of friendship and unrequited love. The narrative was created in response to another student's story about a loss experienced in their past.
A Lion's rose
This was some concept work created for a queer fairy tale film exploring the connection between a woman and a cursed Princess. When, in lion form, the Princess stumbles across the woman's cottage in need of help, the two begin a bond of trust that ultimately breaks the curse.

Well loved
A small girl plays with her toys, setting up a carefully organised tea party. However as minor things begin to go wrong and panic grows, it becomes clear that her game is reflecting a much bigger worry.

Wild geese
These pieces are style frame in response to poem 'Wild Geese' by Mary Oliver. The workshop asked us to work in three styles completely different from the way we usually work. As someone who works most often with stop motion, it was interesting to play with a more illustrative 2D animation style.

what waits behind
